Racism

  I made these projects because I was inspired by the movie The Power of One. For the 6 theme projects I would add either a gradient or filter in order to make an original image. For the movie poster I use the one image and made a light red around it. I liked having this project at the end of the year because the movie gave me inspiration. I am very glad that I took digital imaging this year. 

color wheels

       I enjoyed making both of these projects. I especially enjoyed making the soccer one because I really enjoy watching these teams play. I really think the colors and spacing of both are well executed. I think the color are really nice as well. I made the road signs because I am about to be able to drive soon and I am very excited about that. I have really enjoyed taking Digital imaging this year.

Metropolitan Photoshop piece.

I like this piece even though it is fairly gothic. I feel that the artist, Jerry Uelsmann did a good job of balancing colors and the sun in the corner made the picture really. I do think He could add a little more space inbetween the desk and the wall. Overall the artist did a great job on this work!

Authentic Work

For this project I took a picture and then edited it. The first one I took the picture then drew on it to add a cool effect on. I like the first because I feel the spacing was very good But the color and unity is not very good. For the second one I feel that the color is very good But has poor space and movement. IF i maybe did alterante lines black and blue it might have better balance. I enjoyed making the second project rather than the first. I didn't really like drawing on the first one because I am more accurate on the computer.

Batesville day shirt

This is my design for the Batesville day t-shirt. I got the Batesville sign and add various filters to it in order to make it look nice. Then I put a nice scenery picture from plank road. I really enjoyed making this project

alphabet

I made this font by getting cell phones and ipods and arranging them in different letters. I did this With Erin, Carter, Lucas, and Hannah. I enjoyed doing this project because I thought you could be very creative which I enjoy. I look forward to making more projects like this one!

Chairs

I made this assignment "chairs" by taking an image on regular chair then warping various images to fit the chair and change the texture of the chair. I was inspired by the chelsea jersey for the normal chair. The gold and blue combination and then i used the fabric of the jersey. For the egg chair I was inspired by Van Gogh. I used a few of his works and warp them into a chair. The lines were cool because it made the object appear three demsional. I think the texture also looks nice because it looks like it is part of the chair. I really liked this work because I could do also anything with the chair. Making it 3-D was a challenge but I enjoyed the challenge and it looks cool. Also the textures warping the chair make it also look like it could be a real chair. I enjoyed this project and I wait to do more.

Comic

I made this comic by taking various pictures and pulling some off the internet. Then I used various filters to make the images look like a comic. I didn't enjoy making this project as much as the other ones because I felt more constrained since I had to make a story my own design. I look forward to making different projects!

Midterm exam
